English windows

Traditional English windows are manufactured from joined pinewood. They may be traditionally opened horizontally or outwards.

Structure:

Double-hung window with two leaves moving vertically one opposite another or single-hang window with one moving and one fixed leave

57 mm frame

Casing: 170 mm for traditional profile (fixed lower leaf with moving upper leave) Spiral balance and 153 mm for Supertilt

Casement windows open outwards; rabbet construction

Material:

Pine, meranti or oak

Glazing :

The set of low-emission insulated glass with the inter-sheet space filled with argon.

Pane’s thermal insulation – Neutralux Argon Ug = 1.1 W/m2k

Heat transmission coefficient available up till 0,7 W/m2k.

Any glazed unit available with a maximum thickness up till 40 mm

 

Standard spacer bar
Another option: „warm edge” spacer bar manufactured by Glaspol or ODER-GLAS in a colour matching the window colour

Fittings :

Spring fittings – tilt-in or sliding function (traditional system)

Scissor fittings – casement, tilt-in, awning with microventilation function

Colour :

RAL opaque or translucent paint (showing timber structure) from the catalogue of standard translucent colours.

Standard option: one colour selected for both internal and external side of the window.

 

Another option includes duo-colour RAL/translucent, translucent/RAL

 

Four-coat system: preservative treatment plus three-times coating.

Silicone:

Perennator silicone, translucent colour in a standard option.

Silicone colours matching the colour of timber: white, cream and white, grey and white, transparent grey, light grey, grey, silver and grey, concrete and grey, jasmine, light oak, dark oak, pine brown, ochre brown, medium brown, deer brown, chocolate brown, dark brown, black.

Accessories:

Standard handle in white, silver or antique gold.

Options:

Lockable handle (with key) in white, silver and antique gold.

Hoppe secustic handle in white, silver and antique gold.

Grips to lift up the window leaf

Structural and Vienna style transom bars, or mullions
